President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has ordered a reform of Npower to improve its productivity and impact. According to Dada Olusegun the Presidential Aide, in a statement on X, the reform aims to link Nigerian youths through training and also connect them directly to the market space and private sector, making sure that acquired skills translate into viable employment opportunities.
Dada Olusegun the Presidential Aide, disclosed that over one hundred thousand items have been purchased to empower Nigerian youths nationwide.
Dada Olusegun the Presidential Aide, said President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has also approved the sum of ₦32,700,000,000 for the execution and commencement of the National Social Investment Program (NSIP) in 2025.
“Through cooperative clusters, Nigerians will benefit from low-interest credits of ₦300,000 to ₦400,000,” Dada Olusegun stated.
Dada Olusegun, further stated that the scheme aims to empower vulnerable Nigerian youths, especially women, by enabling them to launch or expand small and medium scale businesses, thereby improving their livelihoods.
“2025 promises to be a year of rewards for all Nigerians who have had to go through ongoing economic reforms as the administration seeks to fulfil the Renewed Hope agenda,” Dada Olusegun, said.
