TINUBU HAS PULLED NIGERIA FROM DECAY — IDAHAGBON

Says with 24hrs notice, Tinubu will win re-election.

Former Attorney General of Edo State and Commissioner for Justice Hon. (Barr.) Idahagbon Henry Williams Omoregie has described President Bola Tinubu’s contribution to the political history of Nigeria as legendary, saying his administration has achieved in less than three years what would have taken the nation another 60 years to accomplish.

“This is the first administration that has addressed our national economic lamentations since independence 63 years ago. He has demonstrated that the duty of government is not to join the masses in lamentation but to bring the people out of lamentation. Policy vacuum and poor policy implementation setbacks that seemed insurmountable in successive administrations have all bowed to the courageous effort of the incumbent administration”.

According to him, “Tinubu represents an era in Nigeria’s economic development, and his impact in his first tenure has dwarfed all crippling reforms since the inception of democracy in 1999. This is the first time Nigeria has had a President who is courageous enough to take the road not taken by previous administrations in all spheres of our national life. The APC administration under the headship of President Bola Tinubu is building a sustainable economy and a nation that stands ready to engage the rest of the world as a partner in formulating a global development agenda that will guarantee peace, security, and speedy economic development.”

Idahagbon, who represents Edo, Ekiti and Ondo States at the Federal Civil Service Commission, stated this during an online interview with Newsbreak International according to a statement issued by his media office. He called on all Nigerians across the world to invest back home by taking advantage of the various reforms by the administration as it continues to open the economy to all who bring in new capital, new knowledge, new ideas, and a new level of efficiency by broadening the base of economic participation.

While relishing the various triumphs of the administration, he maintained that President Bola Tinubu is poised for a surge of new growth in building a strong, independent, and self-reliant nation at the forefront of the world’s nations in service to humanity.

He further described President Bola Tinubu as a veteran in humanitarian service and human capital development who has focused on building a bottom-up administration where leaders draw their strength not from themselves or even their office but from the people. He has directly impacted the lives of the vulnerable through various schemes, including direct educational scholarships to Nigerian students through NELFUND. Human welfare programs and policies that were only possible abroad are now being implemented across the nation for the benefit of Nigerians.

While assuring that with 24 hours’ notice to the 2027 general elections President Bola Tinubu will win in a landslide, the legal luminary emphasized that the administration has given succour to ordinary people and hope to millions. More Nigerians have relocated back home from abroad due to the enabling environment and the entrenchment of democratic governance, which has put Nigerians at the centre of all developmental agenda.

The former Attorney-General, however, cautioned Nigerians who are always in a hurry to pounce on any mistake of their leaders to be wary of their ways. “We must learn to operate as one nation. We should be speaking the language of oneness and unity rather than waging war to win peace.” He admitted that the task ahead for the President is challenging and daunting, but it is surmountable by our collective effort and the cooperation of all Nigerians.

“If the 2027 Presidential election were suddenly scheduled to take place tomorrow, President Bola Tinubu would win with 24 hours’ notice. His performance is a sufficient campaign to guarantee his victory at any poll even with 24 hours’ notice. Sovereignty belongs to the people and, through elections, they gave it to President Bola Tinubu to exercise on their behalf; having been given good account of his stewardship, Nigerians are waiting to renew his mandate irrespective of the primitive politicking by the opposition.”
