Edo South Backs Senator Neda Imasuen for Second Term

Constituents across Edo South Senatorial District say they are satisfied with the performance of Senator Neda Imasuen and are ready to mobilise massively for his reelection for a second term.

From Benin City to surrounding communities, residents point to practical empowerment programmes that have touched lives and boosted livelihoods. Many say the senator’s focus on skills, sports, and education has made a real difference.

Beneficiaries of his leather shoe-making training include Osagie Aikhionbare, Igbinovia Eromosele, and Ehizogie Nosakhare, who say the programme helped them learn a trade and earn steady income. In the agricultural sector, farmers like Aisosa Omoregie and Isoken Ogbemudia received farm inputs, improving yields and reducing costs.

Sports enthusiasts also applaud the senator’s support for youth development through the Benin Unity Cup, with community members such as Iyekowa Asemota describing it as a platform that promotes unity and discovers talent. For students, the free JAMB registration initiative has eased financial burdens on families. Beneficiaries like Uyi Agho and Osarodion Igbinedion say the support gave them a fair shot at higher education.

Speaking collectively, constituents say these interventions show responsive leadership and a clear understanding of local needs. Community leaders and youth groups are already organising town meetings and grassroots outreach to rally support.

“Our votes will speak for him,” said Monday Osaigbovo, a trader in Benin. “He has stood with the people.”

With growing confidence across the district, Edo South constituents say they are united and ready to work for Senator Neda Imasuen’s return to the Senate for a second term.
