OLOROGUN JARO EGBO RECEIVES THE LEADERSHIP OF OGHARA COMMUNITY IN AGBARHO KINGDOM FOR A THANK YOU VISIT OVER MODERN MARKET PROJECT FOR THE COMMUNITY..

The Executive Chairman of the Ughelli North Local Government Council, Olorogun Barr. Jaro Movudu Egbo Ksc, received the leadership of the Oghara community in Agbarho kingdom within Ughelli North local government area, for a courtesy/ appreciation visit to his office. This visit was in appreciation of the modern market project approved for the community by His Excellency, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff Francis Orhowedor Oborevwori, the Executive Governor of Delta State. The delegation was led by the community’s High Chief, Chief Ikpesu Okotie, and the President General, Chief Anigboro Ekama.

Speaking for the Community, High Chief Ikpesu Okotie expressed that their visit was primarily intended to convey gratitude to the Council Chairman for his significant contributions to the development of the Oghara Community since assuming the role of Council Chairman. In particular, they wished to acknowledge his support in securing approval for the establishment of the modern market for the community, adding that his administration has brought notable development to their community.

The community expressed profound gratitude to the Governor of Delta State, Rt Hon Sheriff F.O. Oborevwori, for his benevolent approval of the project. Additionally, they lauded their esteemed daughter, Hon Stella Okotete, Executive Director of Business Development at the Nigeria Export-Import Bank, for her role in facilitating the project. Furthermore, they acknowledged Elder Omene Sobotie, APC State Chairman and a native of the community, for his contribution to the community’s development.

They additionally request that the Executive Chairman of the Council encourage the contractor responsible for the project to involve members of the community in their work execution, along with other appeals.

In response, Barr. Jaro Egbo praised the community for their unity and oneness, and for their show of gratitude to the Governor and other pertinent stakeholders. He urged the community to continue maintaining peace and to provide the contractor managing the project with all the necessary support required throughout the project’s execution.

He assured them of his intervention by visiting the project site and meeting with the contractor in order to foster a harmonious relationship between the community and the contractor.

The highlight of the visit was the presentation of an Appreciation Portrait pictures to the Council Chairman, which included the Governor portrait, the Council Chairman’s Portrait, Honorable Stella Okotete portrait, and Elder Omene Sobotie portrait. This gesture signified their genuine gratitude to the government of Delta State, the local government, and all relevant stakeholders who have contributed to the community’s development.
