Governor Sule bags Honorary Doctor of Science Degree

Nasarawa State Governor His Excellency Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule has been honoured with Doctor of Science Degree, Honoris Causa by the Federal University Otuoke, Bayelsa State.
The instrument of award states that Governor Sule was honoured by the Senate of the institution with the approval of Governing Council in recognition of his “immense contributions to technological advancement and industrialization”.
Engr. Sule was honoured at the 2nd Combined Convocation Ceremony of the Federal University, Otuoke, Bayelsa state on Friday.
Governor Sule who was represented by the Nasarawa State Deputy Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe emphasized the importance of education as a vehicle for socioeconomic development. He adds that no amount is too much to be expended in educating the people.
Dr. Akabe who spoke as Chairman of the maiden Endowment Fund of 100 Billion Naira praised the strides recorded in the school while urging the management not to relent in maintaining standards and qualitative education in line with the aspirations of the Federal Government under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
