The Federal Civil Service Commissioner representing Edo, Ekiti and Ondo States Hon. (Barr) Idahagbon Henry Williams Omoregie has congratulated the newly elected State Executive of the All Progressives Congress in Edo State, describing the congresses as the most peaceful, with a generally acceptable outcome at all levels by stakeholders.
He expressed confidence in the ability of the State Chairman, Jarrett Tenebe, and other elected executive members in building a viable political party that stands ready to deliver all the party’s candidates in all elections even with 24 hours’ short notice.
Idahagbon, who was the former Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice in the state, called on Nigerians from all walks of life to support President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, describing it as a bold and strategic roadmap aimed at stabilising the nation’s economy, restoring confidence in governance, and delivering meaningful development across the country.
He maintained that the Renewed Hope agenda at the state level can only be deepened by supporting Governor Monday Okpebolo in achieving the New Edo that has risen through his practical and fresh approach to governance and massive infrastructural stride, security of lives and property, and people-oriented economic growth.
In a statement issued through his Special Assistant on Media today, Hon. Idahagbon commended Governor Okpebolo for aligning Edo State with the progressive family and providing purposeful leadership, noting that his administration has brought renewed political stability and unity within the party in the state. He assured that the synergy between President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and Governor Okpebolo’s development-driven leadership represents a new phase of progress and political consolidation in Edo State.
“I congratulate all ward, local government and state executives of our party for the successful congresses, wishing you all fruitful tenure in office,” the statement added.
