In order to discharge their activities judiciously without stress, the governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike gave out 15 (fifteen Prado VXTXL Jeeps) to Federal Lawmakers in the National Assembly from his state.
In a statement released by the state’s commissioner for information and communication, Paulinus Nsirim, he said that the gesture would ease their movement and enable them discharge their duties effectively. He therefore urged all the PDP recipients to keep faith with the party so that they can collectively recover what was lost before and reposition themselves for the forth coming 2023 general election.
While thanking Governor Wike on behalf of his colleagues, the senator representing Rivers East senatorial district, George Thompson Sekibo stated that in spite of the challenges posed by COVID 19, Wike still saved funds to provide them vehicles. The member representing Khana/Gokana Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Dumnamene Deekor said that the governor has been consistent in encouraging the federal legislators to protect the interest of Rivers people.
