… satisfies with progress of work

… as contractor assures 2nd bridge ready in 6 months

Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, this afternoon inspected the ongoing construction work on the Nembe-Brass road project.

Governor Diri appreciated the progress of work on the 120 metres long second major bridge on the first phase of the project and assured that the Nembe-Brass road project would continue to receive adequate funding.

The Governor who later visited the operational base of the contractor, Setraco to see the casting of the beams was accompanied on the trip by the Lawmaker representing Nembe Constituency one in the State House of Assembly, Hon. Oteigbanyo George-Braah, Commissioner for Information, Orientation and Strategy, Mrs. Ebiuwou Koku-Obiyai, her Environment counterpart, Hon. Ebi Ben Ololo, the Commissioner for Special Duties, East, Mr. Alalibo West, Commissioner for Special Duties, Central, Mr. Mandy Akpalo, Deputy Chief of Staff, Mr. Irorodamie Komonibo, Special Adviser on SMEs, Hon. Jonathan Obuebite and Executive Chairman, Nembe LGA, Chief David Alagoa.

The Project Manager, Mr. Hazem Najjar said the second bridge would be ready in 6 months and confirmed that the Bayelsa State Government is not owing the company.
