GOVERNOR UZODIMMA MOVES TO STEM OPPOSITION CONSPIRACY AGAINST TINUBU

The governor of Imo State, His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma CON, is leaving no stones unturned in his determination to ensure the continued success of the Renewed Hope administration of His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.

The governor who also doubles as the Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum continues to work to steady the ship of governance for the President across the nation, by mobilising the support of critical stakeholders from across political, social, business and religious ecosystems.

President Tinubu’s well thought-out and visionary reform agenda, especially, in the oil and gas and financial sectors has seen a fair share of resistance from those who were prime beneficiaries of the economic and developmental stagnancy and general corruption, hence, their convergence into a unified power mongering cabal pretending to be an opposition coalition against the All Progressives Congress led administration.

While it is obvious that the majority of Nigerians are not and will not be swayed by the self-serving, bigoted and avaricious conspiracy by these politicians, the governor of Imo State is leaving nothing to chance in his determination to ensure that these elements are stalled on their tracks by mobilising patriots across the nation to stand solidly behind the progressive and innovative agenda of the President.

By leading his colleague governors of the All Progressives Congress to Kaduna on a consultative meeting with former President Muhammadu Buhari, Governor Uzodimma has effectively nullified the exaggerated narrative about plans by the CPC bloc in the APC to dislocate from the APC and assumably join forces against President Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. Governor Uzodimma has consequently stemmed a major conspiracy against the APC led federal government and the reelection plans of the President Tinubu.

President Buhari had earlier affirmed his continued membership of the All Progressives Congress, thereby, discrediting insinuation in some quarters that some old members of the defunct CPC who recently defected from the APC, have the blessings of the former President who was the founding leader of the now defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC).

Governor Uzodimma shall continue to work to promote the policies and programs of the Renewed Hope administration and as well ensure that the President’s opponents do not succeed in their dubious attempt to stultify the wheel of progress, stability and prosperity, which President Tinubu unrelentingly steers Nigeria to.
