Nasarawa State Governor, Engr Abdullahi A Sule has won the Daily Independent’s Governor of the Year Award (2024) in Solid Minerals Development category.
The Governor was presented with the prestigious award on Saturday at the award ceremony held at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.









Governor Sule was represented by the state Deputy Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe, who received the award on his behalf.
The recognition highlights Governor Sule’s unwavering commitment to the advancement and development of solid minerals in Nasarawa State.
Under his leadership, the state has made significant strides in harnessing its rich mineral resources, creating employment opportunities, and contributing to the nation’s economic growth.
