CITY BOY MOVEMENT VISITS AKPABIO, GALVANIZES SUPPORT FOR TINUBU 2027 RE-ELECTION
The South-South Zonal regional leadership of the City Boy Movement yesterday paid a courtesy visit to Godswill Akpabio, President of the Senate.
The delegation, led by its Zonal Coordinator, Senator Ekpenyoung Asuquo, included Comrade Freedom Atigbi, Ph.D., the Deputy Coordinator, and other members of the group.
During the visit, Senator Ekpenyoung Asuquo briefed the Senate President on the group’s readiness to galvanize grassroots support for the re-election of Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027. He noted that the South-South region remains crucial to the President’s electoral success, stressing the need for continued stakeholder engagement and support across the zone.
In his response, the Senate President assured the group of his unalloyed support, emphasizing that members must leave no stone unturned in mobilizing the region ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Recall that the City Boy Movement was first launched in 2022 with Seyi TINUBU as the grand patron as a youth -driven political mobilization platform but was recently reorganized by injecting fresh hands to support the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. With strategic engagements ongoing across the country, the group aims to emerge as one of the leading support movements for the President’s second-term campaign.
