By Samuel Mbah.
In the history of representation in Aboh Mbaise/ Ngor Okpala Hon. Attorney Mathew Nwogu would be classified as the worst representative so far. the last time i wrote about the so-called representative and his style of representation and politics, his minions called for my crucifixion. I have said it once and i’ll keep saying it, for a man who never in his entire life believed or dreamt of getting to where he is today should be humble enough to understand that power is transient. No wonder they say the true test of a man’s humility is when power is given to him.
Representing a large and diverse people like Aboh mbaise and Ngor okpala a people who are politically woke and active should understand that politics is beyond rhetorics. Who are his advisors, did he surround himself with dumb people or is he the problem here? a critical question begging for answers. I have read, seen pictures of what other Rep members from Imo state are doing in their constituencies and for their constituents. massive Empowerment of youths and indigent people, road constructions and rehabilitation, construction of classroom blocks, employment slots and opportunities. Prominent amongst all is the representative of Ohaji Egbema /Oguta/ Oru east Hon. Eugene Dibiagwu who has massively empowered so many youths and women of his constituency with vehicles, motorcycles, working tools for artisans and so many valuable items on his first outing just like Attorney Mathew Nwogu.
I want to be challenged, if anyone can show me a video or pictorial proof of where Mr Mathew has empowered a youth man or woman or dropped a shovel of sand either for road construction or rehabilitation then i will drop my agitation to support him whole heartedly. Just one picture is enough.
Primary and secondary schools in his immediate Ngor okpala local govt are fast falling apart, youths are there languishing in hunger and joblessness and no sign of representation or bills from him to at least remind the hallowed chamber that there’s a place called Aboh Mbaise/ Ngor okpala. Once beaten twice shy, this mistake should not be repeated come 2027. The time to shop for a credible replacement is now.
Aboh Mbaise/ Ngor Okpala WHO SHALL WE SEND?
