GOVERNOR UZODIMMA FLAGS OFF STRATEGY/TRAINING SESSION FOR TINUBU’S REELECTION VICTORY

Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has flagged off a one day Training and Strategy Session for critical officials of the Party in the 137 wards of Imo West Senatorial zone, charging them to campaign vigorously in order to ensure the victory of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all other APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.
The governor who was represented at the event by his Chief of Staff, Chief Nnamdi Anyaehie charged the executive members of the Party to canvass support for the Party’s candidates; “vigorously, boldly and shamelessly ” assuring them that the victory of the Party in the next elections is guaranteed, due to the Party’s clear and undisputable achievements at both the national and State levels.
“The APC has earned the right to win across Imo State due to our good governance and people focused initiatives over the past years. I urge you as critical officials of the Party to campaign boldly with the Party’s achievements, because they are enough to secure us overwhelming victory.”
The session which was organised by the Imo West Senatorial Chairman of the Party, Hon. Engr. Frank Onyejiaka was designed to prepare critical officials for the commencement of the 2027 campaigns, had all the LGA executive committee members, ward chairmen, Secretaries, Publicity Secretaries, Youth Leaders and Women leaders from the 137 wards in the Senatorial district in attendance.
The Deputy Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Amarachi Chyna Iwuanyanwu who spoke on behalf of the members of the State House of Assembly and House of Assembly candidates of the Party thanked the Orlu zonal Party leadership for organising what he described as a “commendable pace-setting initiative” which he believes other zones should replicate to strengthen the Party’s local structures.
During his opening remark, the Senatorial district chairman, Engineer Onyejiaka explained that the Strategy and Training session became necessary in order to equip these critical officials with the right information about the Party and its achievements over the past few years. He told the officials to align with all the standard bearers of the Party to ensure their victory, warning that any Party official who fails to deliver their polling stations and wards would be deemed incapable of representing the Party.
“I am happy to inform you that the Party is prepared and equipped to retain all the seats we won in the 2023 elections and also recover any seat that is not under the control of our Party at this moment. It is your primary responsibility as Party officials to ensure that this happens and I am confident that you will not fail the Party.”
He thanked the governor for supporting the Party’s programs and also making the work of campaigning for the Party easier through his transformational governance initiatives and people oriented leadership.
The National Ex-officio (South East) of the Party, Hon. Dr. Iyk Umeh who served as the key resource person for the session enlightened the delegates on their responsibilities as Party officials and reminded them that; “The most important test of your capability as a Party official is your performance in the coming election. He reiterated the numerous achievements of the APC government, encouraging them to make sure that these achievements are well pronounced across the nooks and crannies of their various constituencies.
The Commissioner for Trade, Commerce and Investment Hon. Rex Anunobi in his address reeled out some of the legacy projects of the “Renewed Hope Agenda” of His Excellency President Bola Tinubu and the “Shared Prosperity” administration of His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, CON, arguing that no other Party can boast of a quarter of these achievements.
The immediate past Commissioner for Agriculture and the Party’s candidate for Nkwere, Isu, Njaba, Nwangele Federal Constituency, Chief Cosmos Maduba thanked the Party officials for their commitment to the Party and wished them a happy deliberation as he declared the Party’s readiness to win the next elections across all the wards in the Senatorial District.
Other Party leaders who spoke at the session included; Hon. Kyrian Uchegbu, who represents Imo State on the board of the Niger-Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Engineer Toni Adikaibe, the Chairman of Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON). Chief Ozioma Ebonine who represents Njaba State Constituency in the Imo State House of Assembly, Chief Paul Duru, the executive Chairman of Nwangele LGA and the Orlu zonal ALGON Chairman was present alongside other executive chairmen from the zone. Also candidates of the Party from the zone were also present.
