Today marks a significant milestone for football in Akwa Ibom as Godswill Akpabio United FC is officially unveiled. The newly established club, owned by Nigeria’s Senate President Senator Godswill Akpabio, is set to compete in the 2024/2025 Nigeria National League (NNL) season. With ambitions for promotion to the Nigerian Premier League (NPL), the club has recruited a blend of experienced players and promising young talents.
