The Chairman of the Media and Publicity Directorate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Presidential Campaign Council during the 2023 election, Mr. John Mayaki, has declared that any plot by detractors against the Edo State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Emperor Jarret Tenebe, is destined to fail and come to naught.
Mayaki conveyed this message during a courtesy visit to the State Chairman, expressing loyalty to his leadership. He praised the Chairman’s courage and candor, noting that these qualities have united the party and driven its progress to this point.
Mayaki, who was warmly received said, “it’s unfortunate that after working so hard for the success of the party during the election, you have become a target of those plotting your downfall both from the opposition PDP who see you as a threat to their party and even from within the party especially people who don’t want you close to the governor. I have no doubt that these individuals would surely fail because God is with you.”
Mayaki said while the Chairman was doing everything positive to give the party in the state the desired leadership, some persons are out there holding nocturnal meetings on how to bring him down and weaken the party. I have no doubt that they will always fail.
He said, “You have worked for the party. You should benefit the fruits of your labour. Whoever is bellyaching and blackmailing you over anything will not reap the fruits of their labour. You have worked, may God continue to protect and guide you to reap the benefits of your hardwork”.
