Comrade Iwok Receives CEO of ACOB Lightning Technology Limited…….as ACOB CEO lauds successive Government in AKS
Comrade Kingsley Iwok, Special Assistant to Governor Umo Eno on Mobilization in Abuja, receives Mr. Alexander Obiechina, CEO of ACOB Lighting Technology Limited, a prominent renewable energy company located in the Federal Capital Territory.



Obiechina commended the pasts and present administration in Akwa Ibom State for viable development projects commitment in transforming the state in infrastructural development and maintaining a clean and serene environment and structures citing in particular the state government House which he averred was the best in structural design and aethestics out of all the 22 other states government houses which he has visited.
Mr. Obiechina, with a focus on renewable energy, expressed his desire for all Akwa Ibom State communities to have access to electricity.
He expressed interest in collaborating with the state government through a public-private partnership to provide sustainable renewal energy solutions.
The Mandela Washington Fellow, he emphasized that federal and state governments lack sufficient financial resources to provide social infrastructure like electricity nationwide, and advocated for leveraging Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) to deliver renewable energy across Nigeria.
The Chief Executive emphasized that the renewable energy sector thrives best through Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs), which his company prioritizes for reliability, accessibility, and sustainability.
He noted that a favorable regulatory framework can enable private sector investment to flourish and play a key role in driving renewable energy growth in Akwa Ibom State.
Obiechina whose company has lightened up many communities in Nigeria also talked about developing solar mini _grids in providing accessible and sustainable lighting to rural and undeserved communities in various states.
The Special Assistant to the Governor expressed deepest appreciation for the visit, and highlighted that Akwa Ibom remains the nation’s best friendly and secured environment for investment.
He also maintained that Governor Umo Eno is dedicated to the development of the state and the rural areas.
