SAYS GOVERNOR MORE ENERGIZED TO ACCELERATE DEVELOPMENT IN BAYELSA STATE.

………COMMENDS DEPUTY FOR FILLING THE VACUUM EFFICIENTLY.

Youths of Bayelsa State have sent their message welcoming back the Bayelsa State Governor from his just completed three weeks official leave. The youths led by Senr-Comr. Doubara Kumokou (a.k.a the youths governor) under the aegis of the Prosperity Youths Coalition (PYC) expressed joy to have the governor back in the State ahead of his official resumption of duties in the governance of the state today.

The PYC’s welcome message as signed by its Secretary General Igbeta Ayebakuro Esq. described the governor as a modern breed of leader operating within constitutional provisions for officially transmitting state powers, duties and functions to his deputy before embarking on the short leave. Expressing their joy for having the governor back, the PYC stated that Sen. Douye Diri is not only a miracle governor but a high performer who is hell bent on turning around for the better, fortunes of Bayelsans, guided primarily by the fear of God, and the democratic tenets of the rule of law, greater happiness of the greater number of citizenry, and the peaceful coexistence in the polity in all ramifications.

Additionally, the PYC thanked the Deputy Governor Sen. Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo for his dedication to alertness and loyalty to his principal the governor and Bayelsa State during his acting period, where he ensured that the state did not feel so much the temporary absence of the Chief Executive by ensuring that governance went in smoothly in line with the ASSURED Prosperity agenda of the miracle governor, no wonder Gov. Douye Diri has been consistent in his description of Sen. Lawrence as a loyal, dependable, and workaholic deputy in whom he is personally well pleased. This working relationship between the governor and his deck hand exudes something more than an official one, but an elder/younger brother relationship in one hand, and a Principal/subordinate relationship on the other hand harmoniously intertwined. This is something Bayelsa youths must learn from its leadership, Igbeta admonished.

“Loyalty, dedication and mutual trust/support is the bedrock of the success of the Prosperity administration, they work with a vision and great course in mind, which is geared towards the betterment of Bayelsa State, like the famed musketeers they built a relationship of trust and mutual support One-for-all and all-for-one, something that is no doubt significantly lacking in the present day Bayelsa youths hindering our progress, especially in the political scene where self deceit and sentiments of entitlement has left us the youths in a niche where we are expected to take charge of an entire eco system” the statement concluded.
