Nwebonyi pledges to build N200m Law auditorium for Federal University

The Deputy Chief Whip of the Senate and Senator representing Ebonyi North District in the National Assembly, Onyekachi Nwebonyi, has pledged to build a Faculty of Law Auditorium worth over  N200 million at the Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike(AE-FUNAI).

Nwebonyi made the pledge when he paid an unscheduled visit to the Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof. Daniel Nwachukwu, yesterday.

He assured of his unalloyed support to the administration of the Vice-Chancellor, adding that he would further intervene in the area of campus road network and in the provision of scholarship to indigent students.

He promised to give 20 indigent students of the university scholarships, to enable them fulfill their purpose in the institution.

The Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof. Nwachukwu, while commending the Senator for his promises, assured of his preparedness to work with him and other members of the National Assembly from Ebonyi State to take the university to greater heights.

He also reiterated his vision of making the university an epicentre of academic and intellectual excellence that would be recognised in Nigeria, Africa, and globally.

He, therefore, called on other eminent sons and daughters of Ebonyi State, to join hands with him to make the university a shining example of academic excellence.
