Hon. Pius Alile Resigns as Edo Deputy Chief of Staff, Expresses Gratitude to Gov. Monday Okpebholo

Hon. Pius Alile has officially resigned from his appointment as Deputy Chief of Staff to the Edo State Government.
In a statement announcing his resignation, Alile expressed profound appreciation to the Executive Governor of Edo State, Monday Okpebholo and his deputy Rt. Hon Dennis Idahosa, for the confidence reposed in him and the opportunity to serve in his cabinet.
He described his time in office as a period of learning, service, and dedication to the advancement of Edo State, noting that it was an honour to contribute to the administration’s developmental agenda.

“I am deeply grateful to His Excellency for the trust placed in me and the privilege to serve our dear state at this level,” Alile stated. “It has been a rewarding experience working alongside committed leaders in the pursuit of good governance and sustainable development.”

Hon. Alile also thanked colleagues, stakeholders, and the people of Edo State for their support and cooperation during his tenure. He reaffirmed his continued commitment to the progress and prosperity of the state.
While the reason for his resignation was not detailed, sources close to him indicate that the decision aligns with his future political and personal aspirations
