It was a significant day for public health in Ese-Odo Local Government Area as High Chief Caleb Ebimobowei Molos, the Executive Chairman , officially launched a vital ten-day Measles Rubella and Malaria vaccine campaign. This dual-purpose campaign highlights a proactive effort to boost immunity against two prevalent and serious diseases, aiming to safeguard the health and well-being of the local population, especially children.

The flag-off ceremony, though brief, was symbolically powerful. It took place in Agadagba Obon, right in front of Pa Atimati Kekemeke’s residence, bringing the importance of the campaign directly into the heart of the community. This choice of location likely aimed to foster a sense of local ownership and encourage widespread participation in the immunization drive.

This campaign is a critical step in reducing the burden of Measles, Rubella, and Malaria, diseases that can have severe consequences, particularly for vulnerable groups. By providing these essential vaccines, the Ese-Odo Local Government Area is taking a commendable stride towards a healthier future for its residents.
