In a bid to meet up the deadline date for completion , estimated to be at most October 2025 for delivery .
The contractor and the company , Zerock Construction Nig. Ltmd, is working at speed as reports from the site reveals a thought-impressive progress .
It is no longer news to the people of Sabagreia in Kolokuma-Opokuma L.G.A, and Polaku Community in Yenagoa L.G.A, who are host to this particular project, of the near-completion of the 2.1km roads on both sides which connects to the bridge proper .
No doubt, hopes and excitements are already ignited from the echos of ‘would be road users’ whose inching hands can’t wait to hold on the steerings of motorcycles and vehicles upon completion .
A pictorial view showcases the fast-erecting spans in the middle of the river , which further indicates finishing touches on the edges .
A careful look at this project will flash your instincts even as a layman in the construction field to the fact that once the 10 spans are joined and connected, then, it will be a simultaneous completion alongside the road work.
The Commitment of the Bayelsa State Governor, Sen. Douye Diri and the financial enablement dished on all ongoing projects across the State, calls for our collective support and commendations .
The potential benefits of this road and bridge project to the people of Bayelsa East, Central and West Senatorial Districts cannot be overemphasised as they are of economic value .
