A reputable media organisation based in the Nigeria capital, Abuja, The Parliament Dairy, has unveiled programme and activities for its second lecture series and awards for notable Nigerians in different fields of endeavour.

In a press statement issued at the weekend by the publisher and Chief Executive Officer of The Parliament Dairy, Precious Enebuse, explained that the event with the theme “Towards A Violence-Free Elections: The Role of Contestants” will hold on 24th November, 2022 at the Merit House, Abuja and begin by 12 noon prompt.

According to Enebuse, Professor Femi Olufunmilade, Director, Buratai Centre for Contemporary Security Affairs, Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State will be the guest speaker at the event expected to feature The Parliament Dairy Special Recognition Awards.

The three different Awards categories, according to the publisher are: 

1. The Parliament Diary Special Recognition Award,

(a) Plaque for Good Governance Award to His Excellency, Governor Bello Mohammed Mutawalle of Zamfara State

(b) Plaque for Effective Representation and Ease of Doing Business Award to Rt. Hon. Ossai Nicholas Ossai, PhD Chairman, House Committee on Protocols, Agreements and Treaties, (c) Plaque of Philanthropy, Community Development and Humanitarian Service Award to Hon. Princess Chinwe Nnabuife, Young Progressives Party 2023  Candidate for Orumba North and South Federal Constituency seat, Anambra State, (d) Plaque for Justice Champion Award to Dr. Reuben Atabo, SAN, a Principal Partner, Liberty Chambers 

2. The Parliament Diary Post-Humous Award to His Royal Highness Alh. Musa Muhammad Ijakoro II, Sarkin Bwari on behalf of his late father

3. The Parliament Diary Public Service Award, 

(a) Man of the Year

(b) Woman of the Year

(c) Politician of the Year

(d) Public Officer of the Year

(e) Senator of the Year

(f) Rep Member of the Year

(g) Minister of the Year

(h) Assembly Speaker of the Year

(i) Councillor of the Year

(j) CSR Compliant Company of the Year

(k) Educationist of the Year 

(l) Product of the Year Among others.
