Senator Ngwu assures effective, quality representation

The Senator representing Enugu West Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Senator Osita Ngwu has assured the people of the district of effective and quality representation.
The Senator gave the assurance on Saturday at the post inauguration reception held at Base Landmark Event Center, Enugu.
While reiterating his commitment to ensuring even development in the zone, Senator Ngwu expressed gratitude to Governor Peter Mbah, the PDP leadership, and the people of Enugu West Senatorial District for their support throughout his electioneering campaign and election and promised to fulfil his campaign promises.
Senator Ngwu disclosed that he will focus on human capital development, youth empowerment in Information Communications Technology, ICT, and in other sectors , provision of scholarship for indigent student and support for widows.
The senator who replaced the former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, said he will build on developmental strides recorded by his predecessor in Enugu West.
The event attracted the Governor of Enugu state, Dr Peter Mbah, the immediate past Governor of Enugu state,Rt. Hon.Dr. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Clergymen, traditional rulers, political class comprising former elected/ appointed officers ,present elected and appointed officers, leadership and members of the Peoples Democratic Party,PDP, family members, friends and well wishers of senator Ngwu.
The event was well attended by constituents from the five local government areas that made up Enugu west.
