The Ad-Hoc Committee on Crude Oil Theft, chaired by Senator Ned Munir Nwoko, invites all stakeholders and the general public to a 2-day public hearing. The hearing aims to investigate the incessant and nefarious acts of crude oil theft in the Niger Delta and the actors involved.

Public Hearing Details:

  • Date: Monday, 28th – Tuesday, 29th April, 2025
  • Venue: Senate Conference Room 022, Senate New Building, National Assembly Complex, Abuja
  • Time: 10.00 a.m. on Monday & 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday

  • Oil Theft and Bunkering
  • Pipeline Vandalism
  • Crude Oil and Natural Gas lifting
  • Crude Oil Metering
  • Possible gaps in regulating and strengthening the Surveillance and monitoring Structures in the Petroleum Industry
  • Any other relevant information

Submission of Memoranda:
Thirty-five (35) hard copies and a soft copy each of the Memoranda should be submitted to the Committee Secretariat in Room 2.2 (White House, Senate) on or before Monday, 21st April, 2025.
