National and State House of Assembly Lawmakers in Taraba Buy Nomination Forms For Gov Kefas
National and State House of Assembly lawmakers from Taraba State have bought the Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms for Governor Agbu Kefas.
The development, which took place at the All Progressives Congress (APC) Secretariat in Abuja, drew the attention of political stakeholders, who described it as a rare display of unity among the state’s political leaders.
The state commissioner for Information and Reorientation, Barr. Zainab Usman Jalingo, in a statement issued to reporters, said the action by the lawmakers reflected the growing confidence in Governor Kefas’ leadership and reform agenda.
Jalingo said the current administration had continued to enjoy support due to its focus on reforms, stability, and development across the state.
According to her, the lawmakers’ collective decision to acquire the forms goes beyond political symbolism and demonstrates institutional backing for the governor’s stewardship.
Jalingo added that the support further strengthens Governor Kefas’ position as the state gradually moves into another phase of its political activities.
“We are, without a shadow of doubt, moving forward,” she stated.
She added that the administration remains committed to delivering good governance and sustaining development initiatives across Taraba State.
