The Member representing Isiala Ngwa South/Isiala Ngwa North in the House of Representatives, Hon. Ginger Onwusibe has restated his unwavering commitment to grassroots development, emphasizing that service to the people remains his top priority.

Speaking at the March 2025 edition of his monthly Ward Constituency Briefing, held in Mbutu Ukwu Ward 3, the lawmaker assured constituents of his continued efforts to enhance infrastructure and improve their quality of life.

The event brought together key stakeholders, party loyalists, and community members who gathered to discuss ongoing developmental initiatives in Isiala Ngwa South.

Hon. Onwusibe used the occasion to congratulate the newly appointed Local Government Chairman and councilors, urging them to remain dedicated to the people who entrusted them with leadership.

As part of his efforts to drive meaningful change, Hon. Onwusibe highlighted a series of infrastructural projects currently underway across the constituency.

In the education sector, he announced the completion of a six-classroom block at Aga, while renovation works on a three-classroom block at Umuojima Primary School, Mbutu Ukwu, continue.

He also noted the ongoing construction of a two-classroom block at Nbihere, ensuring improved learning conditions for pupils.

Healthcare remains a priority, with the rehabilitation and upgrade of Amairi Health Center and the construction of a modern health facility at Ubaha Nsulu, Isiala Ngwa North, both progressing.

Similarly, the construction of Umuko Civic Center in Nvosi is ongoing, providing the community with an essential space for gatherings and development programs.

To boost sports and recreation, Hon. Onwusibe revealed that work is advancing on the Obuba Mini Stadium, including the installation of perimeter fencing.

Road infrastructure is also receiving attention, with the Umunka – Umuogele – Nsirimo Road currently under construction to ease transportation and enhance connectivity in the area.

Recognizing the importance of technology in today’s world, the lawmaker pointed to the ongoing construction of an ICT hub at Amapu Ntigha.

Additionally, efforts to enhance security and accessibility are evident in the installation of solar-powered streetlights in Amapu Ntigha and its environs, improving nighttime visibility and safety.

Hon. Onwusibe reassured residents that these projects reflect his administration’s dedication to equitable development across all communities.

He emphasized that education, healthcare, and infrastructure remain central to his legislative agenda.

Addressing party members, he urged Labour Party faithful to remain steadfast and unified, assuring them that those who worked tirelessly to secure the party’s victory in the last elections would not be forgotten.

“We must continue to work together for the progress of our people,” he said, reaffirming his commitment to delivering results that benefit all constituents.
