DEPUTY CLERK LAID MUM TO REST

The Deputy Clerk (Admin) Senate, National Assembly of Nigeria, Mr. Rawlings Emmanuel Agada has laid his mother to rest.

The interment took place at her family compound at Egwu-Orokam in Ogbadibo Local Government Area of Benue State.

Late Mrs. Salome Paulina Oteyi Ocheoho Agada (nee Ochali) aged 83, died on Monday, March 31, 2024 after brief illness.

She is survived by 2 daughters and 5 sons including Mr. Rawlings Emmanuel Agada, and host of grand children and great grand children.

At the requiem and vigil masses, at Christ the King Catholic Church Ipari-Otukpa the officiating ministers, His Lordships Most Rev. (Dr) Michael Ekwoyi Apochi, Catholic Bishop of Otukpo Diocese, Most Rev. John Ebebe, Catholic Bishop of Uyo Diocese, Most Rev. Isaac B. Dugu, Catholic Bishop of Kastina-Ala Diocese and parish priest, Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Ojaje of St. Syvester Catholic Church Olachagbaha, Otukpo respectively eulogized the late Mrs. Salome Paulina Oteyi Ocheoho Agada as a God fearing, humble and exemplary mother.

They admonished Christians to live a life worthy of emulation, and advised parents to train their children in the ways of the Lord.
