APPMEN Felicitates with Elected, Appointed Representatives Nationwide; Pledges Support for Good Governance

The Association of Proprietors of Private Media Establishment of Nigeria, (APPMEN), the umbrella body for private media establishments in Nigeria, has congratulated all elected and appointed representatives across the country -President, Legislatures, Governors, State Assembly Members and Ministers, on their victories at the polls and appointments respectively.
In a congratulatory message, on Monday, the President of the Association, Mr. Precious Enebuse, said Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s and his Vice, Kashim Shettima’s resounding victory in the February 25th presidential election is an affirmation of his widely-acknowledged sterling performance, outstanding track-record and impeccable antecedents.
Mr. Enebuse said that the victory of all elected and appointed representatives across the country was also an expression of confidence the teeming party faithful had in their ability and capacity to propel the nation to an even greater height in the second term.
He commended the leadership of various party players for ensuring the success of the representatives and for effectively mobilizing their members to participate fully in the electoral process.
According to him, the party members also deserve praise for not only conducting themselves in an orderly manner but for ensuring that their choices are expressed freely, fairly, and unreservedly.
He also applauded security officers for creating the environment, which enabled the polls to be conducted peacefully.
Particularly congratulating lawmakers, state governors and state houses of assembly members, Mr. Enebuse said that they submitted themselves to the people and people’s power had prevailed, adding that their commitment to democracy, non-violent elections, nation-building, loyalty to the party, and party supremacy was particularly remarkable.
The National President APPMEN, felicitates with the newly inaugurated forty-five (45) ministers by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday, describing their emergence as “a new period for Nigerian politics and democracy”.
Mr. Enebuse also congratulated the Nigerian people, “especially the large number of youths who are relatively new to the political process, for demonstrating their strong commitment to democracy.”
He prayed to God to give the President-elect “sound health and divine wisdom to deliver meaningful public service dividends to Nigerians”.
In his message of solidarity, goodwill and felicitations, Mr. Enebuse expressed confidence that the newly formed cabinet “would lead the country into the future our forefathers envisioned for Nigeria”.
