…..Ajede leads reconciliation committee
The Executive Chairman of Ukwuani LGA Hon. Barr. Ajede Possible yesterday held a Political strategic meeting with the Honorable Councillors representing the various Wards in Ukwuani.
The meeting was poised towards unifying the councillors and collapsing all existing and imaginary structures into one to enable them work together with oneness of mind to ensure a smooth and a successful election come 2023 that will bring a total victory to Ukwuani PDP at all levels.
Ajede while addressing the Councillors reiterated that primary election has come and gone and it’s time for them to come back together, restrategise and work together as members of the party. He stated that he will lead all of them to reconcile all party members in the Local government.
Ajede in his statement, said that in 2023 general election, it is important the Councilors return to their various wards/units and work to deliver all our party candidates. He admonished them to engage on issue based campaign and that all our candidates from the Presidency, Governorship, Senatorial, House of Representatives and House of Assembly have made their marks and that they have the capacity to do more. He urged them to tell the people of Ukwuani that our candidates have a rich CV in the area of dividends of democracy to our people.
Ajede who lamented on the poor nature of our Federal Roads, high cost of living, insecurity in the country, unemployment, oil theft, abuse of power, disobedience of court orders, no federal government presence in Ukwuani LGA, no Federal Government Appointment in Ukwuani LGA, etc said that PDP through the Governor and the Local Government Council have done well for us to campaign with. Let us itemize the achievements of PDP and remind our people the little we have done. Help me tell them that we will not rest until we deliver on our mandate.
The Legislators led by the Leader of the House Hon. Clarus Osaeliogor and other Legislators stated and pointed out their griveances with some political leaders and candidate of the party. They also used the medium to appreciate the Executive Chairman for having the zeal to bring everyone together under the Umbrella to work for the progress of the party.
The Number One Citizen of Ukwuani speaking further, pleaded with all leaders and members of the party to embrace peace and genuine reconciliation and thereafter admonished them to collapse all structures into one even as the train will continue in his quest for unification with the legislators, party leaders and candidate of the party in Ukwuani.
