Parliament Diary Newspaper to Host 1st Special Recognition Award Ceremony Featuring Distinguished Dignitaries
Abuja, Nigeria — The Parliament Diary Newspaper, published by The Parliament Cable Network Service Limited, is honored to announce the inaugural edition of its 1st Special Recognition Award ceremony on Thursday, November 6, 2025. The event will take place at the prestigious Nicon Luxury Hotel, Abuja, beginning promptly at 3:00 PM.
This landmark occasion is set to recognize and celebrate outstanding individuals whose exemplary contributions across diverse fields including governance, humanitarian efforts, entrepreneurship, public service, and social advocacy have significantly propelled Nigeria’s progress.
Dignitaries Expected
The occasion will be chaired by Chief Ayeni Ajayi Clement, MD/CEO of Rubbaj Construct Ltd. His Excellency Malam Umar A. Namadi FCA, Executive Governor of Jigawa State, will grace the event as the Chief Guest of Honour.
Special Guests of Honour include Dr. Aishatu Abubakar Baju, mni OON, Assistant Inspector General of Police; Rt. Hon. Kingsley Ogundu Chinda, Minority Leader House of Representatives; and Hon. Justice Samuel Ayiwulu, Chairman, Kogi/Niger States National and State Houses of Assembly By-Election Tribunals.

His Royal Highness Alh. Lawrence Ayih JP Ataga Toni II, Paramount Ruler of Toni Chiefdom, will be the Royal Father of the Day.
Engr. Bashir Aminu Yero FNSE, Deputy Clerk of the National Assembly, will serve as Father of the Day, while Dr. StellaRita Awelle Asogwa, Founder of StellaRita Awelle Humanitarian Foundation, will be the Mother of the Day.
